PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING OR USING OUR SERVICES. BY ACCESSING OR USING ANY PORTION OF THE WEBSITE OR SERVICES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS, YOU MAY NOT ACCESS THE WEBSITE OR USE OUR SERVICES.

To use our Services, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the visitor or registered user, "you" or "your") and AI STL Generator ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to the AI STL Generator website (the "Website") and our hosted 3D generative AI applications, mesh conversion tools, and services (the "Services").

If you are using the Services on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

1. Right to Access and Use Our Services

AI STL Generator grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to access and use the Services for the purpose of:

  • Generating 3D meshes (STL, OBJ, 3MF) from text prompts and 2D reference images;
  • Utilizing our automated 3D mesh repair, watertight solidifying, and topology optimization tools;
  • Converting between 3D formats (such as 3MF to STL) and inspecting models in our browser-based WebGL 3D viewer;
  • Downloading generated 3D files for digital visualization or physical 3D printing.

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or proprietary neural weights of our platform, nor access the Services via unauthorized automated scrapers, bots, or exploits.

2. User Accounts and Security

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that take place under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@aistlgenerator.com if you suspect any unauthorized access or breach of security. AI STL Generator will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login credentials.

3. Restrictions and Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use our Services solely for lawful, constructive creative purposes. You are strictly prohibited from using AI STL Generator to upload, create, generate, or export:

  • Weapons, Firearms, and Explosives: Any 3D model, component, or geometry designed, intended, or capable of being used to fabricate functional firearms, firearm receivers/frames, ghost guns, suppressors/silencers, high-capacity magazines, auto-sear conversion switches, lethal blades, or explosive devices.
  • Physical Security Bypass Tools: 3D models designed to circumvent physical locking mechanisms, bypass security hardware, or reproduce master keys and lock picks without authorization.
  • Child Exploitation and Abuse: Any content depicting or facilitating child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexualization of minors.
  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Uploading 2D references or generating 3D models that infringe on third-party copyrights, registered trademarks, industrial designs, or trade dress without explicit legal authorization from the rights holder.
  • Hazardous Medical & Safety-Critical Components: Models intended for invasive medical applications, uncertified personal protective equipment (PPE), or critical load-bearing mechanical parts where failure could result in bodily injury, death, or severe property damage.
  • Harmful, Harassing, or Defamatory Content: Content promoting hate speech, violence, harassment, discrimination, or explicit adult pornography (NSFW).
  • Abuse of Service: Reselling credits, manipulating promotional check-in reward mechanisms, or interfering with server infrastructure.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to deploy automated filters, image analysis tools, and human review to detect prohibited content. If a generation request or upload violates this Section, we may immediately and without notice:

  1. Refuse or terminate the generation request without refunding deducted credits;
  2. Suspend or permanently terminate your account; and
  3. Report any illegal activity (such as attempts to generate firearm components or CSAM) to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

4. Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights

A. Your Content and Generated Models

As between you and AI STL Generator:

  • Your Inputs: You retain all ownership rights in the text prompts, concept sketches, images, and 3D files you submit to the Services ("Your Content").
  • Your Generated Content: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you own all rights, title, and interest in the final 3D geometry files (STL, OBJ, 3MF) generated and downloaded through your account ("Your Generated Content").

B. Commercial Use Rights

You are granted 100% commercial rights to use Your Generated Content. You may:

  • Physically manufacture and 3D print the models using FDM, SLA, SLS, or resin 3D printers;
  • Sell physical 3D prints commercially on retail platforms (e.g., Etsy, Shopify, craft markets) or through commercial print farms;
  • Incorporate the 3D meshes into commercial video games, digital animations, architectural renders, or virtual environments.

You remain solely responsible for ensuring that your commercial use does not infringe on third-party trademarks or proprietary rights.

C. Limited License to AI STL Generator

You grant AI STL Generator a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, and render Your Content and Your Generated Content solely to the extent necessary to deliver the Services to you (including running inference pipelines, computing geometry, rendering previews in our 3D viewer, and storing downloadable assets).

We do not use your private creations to train public generative models without your express consent.

5. Paid Services, Subscriptions, and Credits

  • Virtual Credits: Certain operations (e.g., high-fidelity 3D mesh generation, complex remeshing) require virtual credits. Credits are digital tokens with no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Subscriptions: Subscription plans renew automatically on a recurring monthly or annual basis until canceled via your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund current cycle fees.
  • Refund Policy: All purchases are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Feedback

If you provide comments, suggestions, or ideas regarding our 3D tools, features, or workflows ("Feedback"), you grant AI STL Generator an unrestricted, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, implement, and commercialize such Feedback without any compensation or attribution to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties (Digital Mesh & 3D Printing)

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.

Crucial 3D Printing & Manufacturing Disclaimers:

  1. Digital Mesh Nature: AI STL Generator generates digital polygon data (.stl, .obj, .3mf). While our automated engine strives to produce watertight and manifold meshes, generative AI outputs may contain geometric nuances, thin walls, floating artifacts, or varying tolerances.
  2. No Physical Manufacturing Warranty: We do not manufacture physical goods. We expressly disclaim all warranties regarding the physical viability, structural integrity, tensile strength, load-bearing ability, watertight seal under pressure, temperature resistance, or food safety of any physical object printed from our files.
  3. User Inspection Responsibility: You are solely responsible for inspecting 3D models prior to printing. You must verify slicing profiles, wall thicknesses, infill densities, orientation, bed adhesion, and support structures in your slicing software (e.g., Bambu Studio, Cura, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer).
  4. Hardware Safety: 3D printing equipment involves high temperatures, electrical currents, and mechanical movements. You are solely responsible for adhering to your 3D printer manufacturer's safety guidelines.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AI STL Generator, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

  • DAMAGE TO 3D PRINTERS, PRINT BEDS, EXTRUDERS, OR HARDWARE;
  • WASTED PRINTING MATERIALS (FILAMENT, RESIN), ELECTRICITY, OR MACHINE TIME;
  • LOSS OF BUSINESS, COMMERCIAL REVENUE, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL;
  • PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM PHYSICAL OBJECTS PRINTED FROM OUR FILES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00 USD).

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AI STL Generator, its officers, affiliates, and contractors against any third-party claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or related to:

  1. Your access to or use of the Services;
  2. Your violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy;
  3. Any physical object fabricated or 3D printed using files generated through your account; or
  4. Any claim that Your Content or Your Generated Content infringes third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). You agree to waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
